FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

We are cyclists - do you have secure parking for our bikes? Yes, but we will need to know in advance as you will be using part of our double garage.

We are cyclists - is the area suitable?  There are a multitude of quiet country lanes surrounding us and cyclists will find our location ideal in many respects. We are close to the National Cycle Trail and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

We are ramblers - is the area suitable?  There are numerous quiet country lanes, bridleways & paths surrounding us. The immediate area around Meadow Farm House is relatively level,  more demanding terrain can be found a couple of miles away in the Lincolnshire Wolds along with the Viking Way.  

We have children - what is there for them to do?   Our nearest and most popular attraction is Rand Farm  which children of all ages love.  However, there are many attractions near by -  See our "Days Out" page for more details. If you have any specific requirements we will do our best to cater for you.  Extensive information can also be obtained from most good Tourist Information Centres.

What is there to do in the area?  Besides bird watching, walking, cycling and relaxing either in the garden or your comfortable accommodation there are a host of interesting places to visit nearby.  To name a few:- Historic Lincoln, Hewswell Antiques Centre, Rand Farm, Falcon Centre, Snipe Dales, Wickenby Airfield & Museum, Horncastle, Market Rasen Races, Cadwell Park etc. See our "Days Out" page for more details.

Is the property suitable for the infirmed?  There are a few steps in the property and access to the bedrooms is a bit restricted and not ideal for wheelchairs, if you have any special requirements please let us know we will do our best to cater for you.

I'm a smoker is this OK?  Within the accommodation it is strictly a no smoking area, however we have no objections to you smoking in the garden (that is if you dispose of your cigarette butts correctly & safely).

Do you allow dogs/cats?  Pets are not encouraged and are only accepted by prior arrangement. This is principally to avoid any conflict with people with allergies and additional wear & tear on furnishings.  Special conditions will apply and a damage deposit of £130 will be required beforehand. 

I'm a keen golfer are there any courses near by?  Market Rasen is 5 minutes drive away and within half an hours drive we have Lincoln, Woodhall Spa, Thonock, Torksey, Kenwick Park to name a few.

How far is Market Rasen race track from you?  We are approximately 4 miles from the course. Arrangements can be made to drop you off and collect you if required. For full information on forthcoming meetings see the link via our "Days Out" page.
